About us

The Eco-clubs offer the possibility to every pupil to commit to a bilingual sustainable development project

Be part of an éco-club, it is the opportunity to develop your oral competences, to think a scientific sustainable development project in English, to establish a special relationship with high-school students via a tutoring process.

Our history

Faced with the need to act against the climate and environmental emergency, the Eco-Clubs project seeks to develop cooperation between the various actors in education by building learning and experimentation projects, in response to the Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility Strategy for OIN Paris-Saclay, the Jouzel-Abbadie report, as well as the UN Sustainable Development Strategy.

This project aims to foster collaboration between academic and secondary schools on issues related to environmental crises. By encouraging the adoption of scientific methods and the development of critical thinking, high school students, aided by the establishment of a mentoring system by their higher education peers, will become actors in the necessary transitions.

For the Créteil academy, relying on a prestigious school like CentraleSupélec is a lever for working on students' ambitions and showing them, on the one hand, that they can be actors of change and, on the other, that their voices can be heard.

By choosing English as the working language and by placing the project in a European dimension, the students understand the importance of mastering a living language in order to share scientific knowledge and to grasp the various scientific and ecological issues to come.
